Version 1 is seeking a mid-level Oracle Cloud Technical Consultant focused on APEX development and reporting. The role emphasizes building responsive APEX pages, dashboards and reports, while collaborating with client teams to deliver scalable Oracle Fusion Cloud solutions.

You will work with BI Publisher, OTBI and BICC to create ad hoc reports, optimize performance, and support live environments. A strong SQL/PLSQL background and experience in managed services is advantageous.

Formación

• 4–6 years hands‑on experience in Oracle APEX development and Oracle Cloud reporting technologies.
• Experience integrating Oracle APEX with Oracle Fusion.
• Experience developing data extracts with BICC, FBDI, HDL and other Oracle Cloud data interfaces.
• Strong SQL, PL/SQL skills and ability to build analytical reports for Oracle Fusion Cloud.
• Familiarity with Oracle Fusion modules, interface tables and data mapping.
• Knowledge of reporting security configurations and data model in Oracle Cloud.
• Experience with version control and CI/CD processes; ability to produce technical design docs.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/IT or related discipline.

Role Overview

Be part of Version 1’s Managed Services team as an Oracle Cloud Technical Consultant with a focus on Oracle APEX Development and Reporting technologies. This opportunity is ideal for professionals who excel in Oracle’s reporting technologies like BIP, OTBI, BICC and customer support, ensuring our enterprise clients receive actionable data and seamless reporting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and support applications using Oracle Application Express (APEX).
• Develop responsive, user-friendly APEX pages, dashboards, reports, workflows and data-entry applications.
• Collaborate with functional teams and clients to analyze APEX and reporting requirements in Oracle Fusion and deliver scalable solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain reports and dashboards using Oracle BI Publisher, OTBI, and BICC tools.
• Build custom and ad hoc reports for Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP/HCM/SCM) modules, based on customer requirements.
• Support and troubleshoot issues in reporting solutions for live business environments and provide end-user support for report-related queries.
• Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize report performance, manage data extract processes, and ensure data integrity through testing and validation.
• Create and maintain documentation for developed reports, data models, and workflows.

Participate in Oracle Cloud quarterly release impact assessments relating to reports and analytics.

Required Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in Oracle APEX development and Oracle Cloud technologies and reporting technologies like BI Publisher, OTBI etc
• Experience on Applications integrating Oracle APEX with Oracle Fusion.
• Experience developing data extracts using BICC, FBDI, HDL, and other Oracle Cloud data interfaces.
• Strong skills in SQL, PL/SQL, and building analytical reports or dashboards for Oracle Fusion Cloud modules.
• Familiarity with the Oracle Cloud data model, subject areas, and reporting security configurations.
• Knowledge of Oracle Fusion modules, interface tables, and data mapping logic.
• Proven troubleshooting ability and a methodical approach to report optimization and validation.
• Familiarity with version control (Git/GitHub), CI/CD processes, and technical design documentation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience supporting managed services environments and handling user support tickets for reporting.
• Exposure to Oracle SaaS/ERP data integrations and migration strategies.
• Knowledge of security best practices for reporting and sensitive data outputs.
• ITIL process knowledge is a plus.

• Ability to prioritize multiple reporting requests and manage deliverables under tight deadlines.
