Job summary

First Advantage is seeking an Oracle Apps Technical Consultant in India to design, develop, customize, and support Oracle E‑Business Suite applications. You will translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions, collaborating with functional teams and users to ensure performance and compliance with Oracle standards.

You will tackle integration, data handling, and production support, leveraging SQL/PL‑SQL, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, and related tools to deliver robust

Qualifications

• Strong experience in Oracle E‑Business Suite R12
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL
• Hands-on with Oracle Reports and BI Publisher
• Knowledge of Interfaces and APIs and Concurrent Programs
• Understanding of Oracle EBS architecture is required
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting and performance tuning

• Develop and modify Rice Components.
• Create and maintain PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
• Develop and customize Forms, OAF pages, and ADF components.
• Work with Workflow Builder to customize and troubleshoot workflows.
• Design and develop interfaces between Oracle EBS and external systems.
• Perform data migration and conversion using SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle standard tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data inconsistencies and reconciliation issues.
• Provide production support, including issue analysis, bug fixes, and performance tuning.
• Analyze and resolve concurrent program failures, performance issues, and database-related errors.
• Monitor and tune SQL queries and PL/SQL programs for optimal performance.

What You’ll Do

The Oracle Apps Technical Consultant is responsible for the technical design, development, customization, and support of Oracle E‑Business Suite (EBS) applications. The role involves working closely with functional consultants and business users to translate business requirements into technical solutions while ensuring performance, scalability, and compliance with Oracle standards.

Responsibilities

Technical Development

• Design, develop, customize, and maintain Oracle E‑Business Suite R12 components.
• Develop and modify Rice Components
• Create and maintain PL/SQL procedures, packages, functions, and triggers.
• Develop and customize Forms, OAF (Oracle Application Framework) pages, and ADF components (as applicable).
• Work with Workflow Builder to customize and troubleshoot workflows.
