Dudhbhate Netralay in Pune invites a qualified optometrist (B.Optom/M.Optom) to join our Clinical Services / Eye Care department. You will conduct comprehensive eye examinations, assess vision, perform refraction, and prescribe spectacles or contact lenses.
Reporting to Chief Optometrist / Medical Director, you will support ophthalmologists, conduct pre- and post-operative evaluations, perform diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, tonometry, OCT, and maintain meticulous patient records.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision assessments.
Perform refraction and prescribe spectacles and contact lenses.
Assist ophthalmologists in diagnosis and treatment planning.
Conduct pre-operative and post-operative patient evaluations.
Perform diagnostic tests such as visual acuity, tonometry, keratometry, A-scan, B-scan, OCT, and visual field testing (as applicable).
Counsel patients regarding eye health, treatment plans, and vision correction options.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Ensure compliance with hospital protocols and quality standards.
Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams for smooth patient care.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor of Optometry (B.Optom) or Master of Optometry (M.Optom).
Valid registration/certification as per applicable regulations.
Freshers or experienced candidates may apply.
Required Skills:
Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
Good communication and patient counseling abilities.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to patient care.
Basic computer knowledge and EMR/HMIS experience preferred.
Experience:
0–5 years of experience in an eye hospital or eye clinic preferred.
As per qualifications, experience, and organizational policies.
