Job summary

ITC Infotech is seeking a Senior Operations Engineer – MES to manage MES operations for core microservices. You will be responsible for production support, incident handling, and RCA within global SLAs.

Strong debugging skills and hands-on experience with ELK, Grafana, and Kubernetes are essential. The role involves on-call support for high-priority incidents, collaboration with international teams, and ownership of monitoring dashboards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, IT, engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of MES Operations/Production Support experience.
• Strong hands-on with ELK, Grafana, Kubernetes, Microservices, Rancher, MSSQL, GitHub.
• Experience with incident management, debugging, and RCA.
• Knowledge of API design and Swagger is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day MES Operations and Production Support for core microservices.
• Proactively monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
• Handle High-Priority Incidents (HPI) and provide on-call support when required.
• Perform problem investigation and Root Cause Analysis within defined SLAs.
• Configure and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts using Kibana and Grafana.
• Take end-to-end ownership and communicate actions and progress clearly.
• Collaborate with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

Role: Senior Operations Engineer – MES

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Operations Engineer – MES to manage and support MES operations for core microservices within the Foundations Team.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in MES production support, microservices, Kubernetes, monitoring, incident management, debugging, and troubleshooting, with the ability to handle high-priority production incidents in a global environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day MES Operations and Production Support activities for core microservices.
• Proactively monitor, analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues.
• Handle High-Priority Incidents (HPI) and provide on-call support when required.
• Perform problem investigation and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) within defined SLAs.
• Configure and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts using Kibana and Grafana.
• Take end-to-end ownership and accountability for assigned operational issues.
• Ensure timely and clear communication regarding actions, progress, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate effectively with global stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
