Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Ophthalmologist role based in Coimbatore. The Ophthalmologist will conduct comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose and manage ocular diseases, and perform surgical and non‑surgical interventions as appropriate. Responsibilities include providing outpatient and inpatient care, prescribing treatments and corrective lenses, and using advanced diagnostic and laser equipment for procedures such as cataract and refractive surgeries. The role involves collaborating with optometrists and other clinical staff, maintaining accurate medical records, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols and safety standards, and participating in patient education and counseling. The Ophthalmologist is also expected to contribute to continuous quality improvement, support clinical training initiatives, and uphold the organization’s standards of ethical, patient‑focused care.
