India Eye Hospital in Greater Noida is a social enterprise committed to providing high-quality, affordable, and high-volume eye care. Our modern facility located at 17/2 Knowledge Park 3, Greater Noida, Gautam Buddha Nagar, UP 201306 is NABH‑accredited, ensuring adherence to recognized safety and quality standards.
We serve rural communities through Vision Centers in Surajpur and Rabupura, and plan to add eight more centers in the next year. Our mission is to eliminate unnecessary blindness in Uttar Pradesh by establishing a network of modern eye hospitals and research centers guided by Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital, Darya Ganj, Delhi.
Since opening in 2023, we have performed 2,800 cataract surgeries using Phaco and plan 3,000 in the next year. Over the next three years, we are setting up a Super‑Specialty Eye Hospital with 15 operating theatres and 12 clinics on a seven‑acre plot at Knowledge Park 3, guided by LAICO and leading American surgeons.
Job Description
As a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist at India Eye, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating a wide range of eye conditions and performing surgical procedures to restore or improve patients’ vision. You will work collaboratively with a team of ophthalmologists and healthcare professionals to deliver the highest quality eye care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose eye diseases, and develop individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Surgical Procedures: Perform a variety of ophthalmic surgeries, including cataract and glaucoma surgery, medical retina, minor corneal procedures, and oculoplastic surgery.
- Preoperative and Postoperative Care: Conduct preoperative evaluations, educate patients about surgical procedures, and provide postoperative care to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Medical Records: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including optometrists, nurses, and technicians, to provide comprehensive eye care services.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with advancements in ophthalmology by attending conferences, participating in continuing education, and staying updated on the latest surgical techniques and technologies.
- Patient Education: Educate patients about eye health, preventive measures, and lifestyle choices that can improve vision and overall eye health.
- Training: Impart skill and knowledge to optometrists and paramedical staff to continuously improve patient care. Training programs will align with service excellence.
- Compliance: Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards, NABH, including patient confidentiality and medical ethics.
Candidate Profile
- MS in Ophthalmology, two‑year fellowship in Ophthalmology, or DNB from Aravind Eye Care System.
- Proficiency in performing a wide range of ophthalmic surgical procedures.
- Strong clinical and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Hindi is required.

- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
