Job summary

Cyient DLM Limited in Shamshabad, Hyderabad, India, is seeking a Mechanical Assembly Operator with 2–5 years of experience in precision assembly, preferably in Aerospace or Defense.

You will assemble mechanical components per engineering drawings, use hand and power tools, check torque and alignment, and support quality inspections while following SOPs and standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma / ITI / Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 2–5 years of experience in precision mechanical assembly
• Experience in aerospace/defense or high-precision manufacturing preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical assembly of aerospace, defense, or high-precision components, sub-assemblies, and systems.
• Assemble parts using hand tools, power tools, torque tools, jigs, and fixtures.
• Ensure proper fitment, alignment, and fastening as per engineering specifications.
• Interpret engineering drawings, assembly instructions, and technical documents.
• Verify torque requirements and assembly parameters during build processes.
• Conduct in-process inspections and verify assembly quality standards.
• Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision tools.
• Support rework, troubleshooting, and corrective actions when required.
• Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and process requirements.
• Follow standard operating procedures and assembly documentation.
• Ensure adherence to Aerospace and Defense manufacturing standards and best practices.
