Job summary

Senior Flexonics India Private Limited, part of Senior plc, is seeking an Operator Engineer trainee at its Manesar sites to operate production machines and support daily manufacturing operations. You will monitor performance, maintain quality standards, and follow safety procedures on the shop floor.

You will work with maintenance, quality, stores and planning teams to meet production targets, reduce downtime and implement 5S, Kaizen, Lean and TPM initiatives while developing hands-on

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC / VMC / Lathe / Milling / Assembly).
• Understanding of engineering drawings & GD&T.
• Knowledge of PPC is a plus.
• Familiar with measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, gauges).
• Basic MS Excel skills for reporting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines and ensure smooth running of processes.
• Monitor machine performance, cycle time and productivity.
• Ensure proper setup, operation and basic troubleshooting of machines.
• Coordinate with maintenance for breakdowns and preventive maintenance.
• Maintain production records, logs and reports.

Senior designs, manufactures and markets high-technology components and systems for the principal original equipment producers in the worldwide aerospace, defense, land vehicle and energy markets.

Senior India Private Limited is a 100% subsidiary of Senior Plc UK. Senior India was established in 1993 under the name of Inalsa Flexonics that was taken over by the Senior Group in 1998. Currently operating from two sites which are in Manesar.

Senior India is a leading manufacturer of Automotive Flexible Exhaust Connectors (Bellow and Interlock types), SS Bellows. Senior India has also introduced engine products viz. EGR coolers, Fuel rails, EGR tubes, Turbo Oil Drains, Turbo Oil Feeds etc.

The Operator Engineer trainee will be responsible for Operating production machines, ensuring smooth running of processess, maintaining quality standards, an follow safety procedures on shop floor.

• Assist in day-to-day production operations to meet targets and quality standards
• Monitor machine performance, cycle time, and productivity
• Ensure proper setup, operation, and basic troubleshooting of machines
• Coordinate with maintenance for breakdowns and preventive maintenance
• Maintain production records, logs, and reports
• Ensure adherence to safety rules, SOPs, and quality procedures
• Support implementation of 5S, Kaizen, Lean, and TPM activities
• Work closely with quality, stores, and planning teams
• Reduce rejection, wastage, and downtime on the shop floor

Qualifications

Qualification - Diploma in Mechanical

• Good knowledge of manufacturing processes (CNC / VMC / Lathe / Milling / Assembly – as applicable)
• Basic understanding of engineering drawings & GD&T
• Knowledge of production planning and control (PPC) is a plus
• Familiar with measuring instruments (vernier, micrometer, gauges)
• Basic computer skills (MS Excel, reports)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Additional Information

Experience required: One to Three years of experience.
