Job summary

Wellknown is seeking a Plant Operator for CP-2 to ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production during shifts. The role focuses on monitoring equipment, following daily schedules, and maintaining accurate process logs.

The candidate should have 1+ year of experience and an Intermediate/ITI qualification, with a strong emphasis on safety, environmental compliance, and housekeeping standards on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Basic to sound knowledge of plant operations and production processes.
• Ability to monitor, operate, and control process equipment and systems.
• Understanding of safe operating practices and environmental compliance requirements.
• Experience in shift-based operations and routine plant activities.
• Basic troubleshooting skills for operating equipment and process systems.
• Knowledge of preventive and routine maintenance activities.
• Ability to accurately record operational data, logs, and test results.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage shift responsibilities effectively.
• Awareness of housekeeping standards and plant safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Ensure smooth, safe, and efficient operation of the production process during shifts.
• Monitor plant equipment and process parameters within assigned operating areas.
• Perform assigned operational jobs and daily schedule activities during shifts.
• Conduct routine plant rounds and report abnormalities to the Shift In-charge.
• Monitor and troubleshoot operating equipment to prevent process deviations.
• Record test results, process data, and maintain accurate area log books.
• Coordinate with Shift Engineers and Maintenance teams for equipment or process-related issues.
• Perform preventive and routine maintenance activities as assigned.
• Maintain good housekeeping standards in operating areas.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety, environmental, and operational guidelines.
• Promptly report production, safety, or equipment-related issues to seniors.
