Job summary

Wellknown is seeking an Electrician for CP Plant to perform shift-based electrical operation and maintenance. The role requires 1–4 years of hands-on experience and an ITI in Electrical, with a focus on safe, reliable plant performance.

You will conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot faults, and support project work under senior supervision, ensuring timely reporting and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• ITI (Electrical) required with hands-on maintenance experience.
• 1–4 years of electrical maintenance exposure.
• Sound knowledge of electrical safety standards and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform shift-based electrical operation and maintenance tasks.

Mandatory Skill-Sets:

• Sound knowledge of industrial electrical systems and equipment
• Hands-on experience in electrical maintenance and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of motors, electrical panels, MCCs, control wiring, and basic electrical systems
• Understanding of preventive and breakdown maintenance practices
• Ability to work independently during shift operations
• Awareness of electrical safety standards, statutory requirements, and procedures
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical operation and maintenance activities during shift duties
• Execute preventive maintenance of machines and electrical equipment as per schedules
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults in machines and plant equipment
• Attend breakdowns and restore equipment operation with minimum downtime
• Support project execution, installation, and modification activities under guidance of seniors
• Prepare and maintain daily shift reports and maintenance records
• Follow electrical safety procedures, permit-to-work systems, and plant guidelines
• Maintain good housekeeping, discipline, and safe working practices in assigned areas
