Role Description

The Operations Manager role at Omaxe Designer Tile is a full-time, on-site position based in Surajpur Site C Industrial Area. The Operations Manager oversees daily manufacturing activities, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality, safety, and cost-efficiency. Responsibilities include planning and scheduling production, managing inventory and materials, coordinating with procurement and logistics, and supervising shop-floor teams. The role also involves implementing process improvements, maintaining compliance with safety and regulatory requirements, and preparing operational reports for senior leadership. The Operations Manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly, optimize workflow, and support continuous growth of the business.

• Proven experience in operations management within manufacturing or industrial environments
• Strong skills in production planning, scheduling, and workflow optimization to meet output, quality, and cost objectives.
• Ability to manage inventory, materials, and supply chain processes, including coordination with procurement and logistics partners.
• Experience supervising and developing diverse teams, with a focus on performance management, training, and engagement.
• Competence in data-driven decision making, including use of spreadsheets, ERP or production management systems, and basic reporting tools.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with production staff, leadership, suppliers, and customers.
