Job summary

Launch Ventures Private Limited is seeking an experienced Operations Manager (Senior Role) to be the first dedicated operations leader. You will build the performance tracking backbone to enable 5X growth, starting with manual KPI tracking in Excel and creating trend dashboards.

You'll coach department heads, design KPI frameworks for Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Logistics, and drive data-driven improvements in a founder-led environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in operations or business transformation, ideally in distribution, retail or consumer electronics.
• Proven experience setting up KPI frameworks and performance dashboards.
• Advanced Excel with strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
• Hands-on, high-energy, comfortable in a founder-led environment.
• Experience in luxury or premium brand distribution is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Build relationships with department heads to reduce founder bottlenecks.
• Co-create and own 2-3 KPI dashboards per department (Sales, Marketing, Ops, Finance, etc).
• Design and roll out weekly data collection processes and Excel templates.
• Analyse data and build department-wise trend dashboards.
• Present weekly insights to leadership and drive improvement discussions.
• Identify bottlenecks and flag issues for Stage 2 fixes.
• Act as a change agent, coach teams on accountability without creating fear.

Operations Manager (Senior Role)

Reports to: Founder/CEO

Role Summary:

You will be the first dedicated Operations leader at the organisation. Your mandate is to build the performance tracking backbone that removes the Founder bottleneck and enables 5X growth. In Stage 1 you will manually track every department’s performance in Excel, create trend dashboards, and coach department heads on ownership.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with all department heads and break the current “validate-everything-with-Founder” culture
• Co-create and own 2-3 meaningful KPIs per department (Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Repair & Claims, Warehouse)
• Design and roll out weekly data collection process (offline + Excel templates)
• Analyse data, build department-wise trend dashboards and graphs
• Present weekly insights to leadership and facilitate improvement discussions
• Identify process bottlenecks and flag them for Stage 2 fixes
• Act as an acceptable change agent, coach teams on accountability without creating fear
