Job summary

Verbronnen Consultants seeks an experienced BIM Operations Manager to oversee end-to-end digital delivery and quality governance for BIM projects. You will lead a multidisciplinary team, drive profitability, and interface with global clients.

You will implement standardized BIM workflows, BEP development, and QA/QC checks from base modeling to LOD 500, while coordinating with Navisworks, ACC/BIM 360 and CDE environments.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on BIM delivery experience with Revit Architecture, Structure and MEP.

About the Role

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and technically sound BIM Operations Manager to oversee the end-to-end digital delivery, quality governance, and operational scalability of our Building Information Modeling (BIM) projects. In this role, you will bridge the gap between strategic leadership and technical execution. You will be responsible for leading a multidisciplinary team of BIM Coordinators and Modelers, ensuring profitability, maintaining high quality control standards, and interfacing with global clients.

Core Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities1. Operational & Delivery Leadership

• Lead the end-to-end execution of multiple BIM, Scan-to-BIM, and MEP modeling projects, ensuring on-time delivery and strict adherence to SLAs.
• Manage resource allocation, capacity planning, and team utilization across concurrent projects.
• Implement data-driven reporting dashboards (e.g., Power BI/Tableau) to track project progress, operational metrics, and revenue alignment.
• Mitigate project risks proactively and resolve delivery escalations to minimize rework.

2. Technical Governance & Quality Assurance

• Establish, enforce, and scale standardized BIM delivery frameworks, workflows, and protocols aligned with ISO 19650 standards.
• Supervise the creation and maintenance of project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Conduct regular model quality audits and strict QA/QC checks to ensure accuracy from base modeling up to LOD 500.
• Oversee multi-disciplinary clash detection and coordination processes using Navisworks or Solibri.

3. Team Leadership & Upskilling

• Mentor, guide, and manage a team of BIM professionals, fostering a high-performance and accountable work culture.
• Design structured development plans and lead continuous training initiatives for Revit Architecture, MEP, and cloud-based platforms.
• Actively participate in talent acquisition, technical interviewing, and onboarding of new hires.

4. Client & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as a primary technical point of contact for international clients, architects, and main contractors.
• Support pre-bid, tendering, and business development teams by defining BIM scopes of work, project costing, and resource estimates.

Required Technical Skills & Soft SkillsTechnical Proficiencies:

• BIM Authoring: Advanced expertise in Autodesk Revit (Architecture, Structure, and MEP).
• Coordination & Collaboration: Mastery of Navisworks Manage, Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) / BIM 360, and Common Data Environments (CDE).
• Specialized Workflows: Proven experience in Scan-to-BIM, point cloud processing, and data schemas like COBie.
• Standards: Deep understanding of global digital construction standards, specifically the ISO 19650 framework.
