Job summary

Cotiviti is hiring an Operations Manager for the E/M specialty in Coimbatore. The role demands 10+ years in medical coding/US healthcare operations with CPC certification and leadership experience to guide program teams on healthcare projects.

You will oversee production targets, data accuracy, client communications, and process improvements while coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in medical coding/ US Healthcare operations/BPO-KPO.
• Minimum 2 years as Sr TL or AM.
• CPC certification mandatory.
• Education: MBBS/BHMS/BAMS/BPT preferred.
• Speciality coding experience preferred (E/M).

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of program leaders on Healthcare projects.
• Meet daily and monthly production and quality targets.
• Maintain high data accuracy.
• Handle external complaints and implement corrective actions.
• Communicate with upstream functions to resolve issues.
• Review team performance using MIS and QA data.
• Review subordinate documentation for data quality.
• Participate in client communications regarding agent performance feedback.
• Minimize absenteeism and control attrition by creating a conducive environment.
• Liaise between support and Operations for day-to-day smoothness.
• Participate in calibration calls to ensure process knowledge parity.
• Manage data reporting dashboards and client reports.
• Ensure login hours and productive time meet client standards.
• Organize feedback sessions to improve quality parameters.
• Assist and lead process guideline updates for new functionality/reports.
• Collaborate to achieve results.

Speciality : Any Speciality coding experience (Preferably E/M)

Educational Requirement : Any degree (Preferably MBBS , BHMS, BAMS, BPT )

Experience : Min 10+ Years

Certification : CPC is Mandatory

Experience requirements:

• Excellent verbal and communication skills.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in medical coding/ US Healthcare operations/ BPO-KPO and minimum 2 years of experience as a Sr TL or AM title.
• Experience in US Healthcare, medical coding, medical billing, RCM health plan operations strongly preferred.
• Possesses knowledge of healthcare claims payment policy and processing specifically CMS, Medicaid regulations, AAOS, ICD-10, CPT & HCPCS, etc.
• Experience in Healthcare management with experience in claim processing, data management & data analysis.

Principal Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Effectively lead a team of program leaders on Healthcare projects.
• Meets daily/monthly production and quality targets.
• Maintains an exemplary level of accuracy in all work.
• Handles external complaints: Analyzing the situation and creating a corrective course of action.
• Communicates effectively and timely with upstream functional areas to resolve issues.
• Reviews team performance based on Historical Data and Quality Scores generated by MIS and QA departments.
• Review documentation entered by subordinates in order to maintain data quality.
• Actively involved in client communications to discuss feedback on agents performance.
• Minimizes absenteeism and controls attrition within the team by creating the right environment for them to work in.
• Liaison between support function and Operations to ensure smooth functioning of day-to-day activities.
• Takes part in regular calibration calls along with colleagues, QCAs and on site managers to ensure parity and compliance on process knowledge.
• Responsible for data management in terms of dashboards and sending reports to clients.
• Ensuring that the required Login Hrs, Productive Time and other standards set by the client are adhered to.
• Organizes continuous feedback sessions for the team to sensitize them towards important quality parameters.
• Assist and lead the team in the modification of process guidelines or other materials associated with new functionality and/or reports.
