Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations across the villas.
• Supervise front office staff, housekeeping supervisors, and attendants; manage rosters, attendance, and training.
• Conduct daily team briefings on guest concerns and pending tasks.
• Track maintenance issues and coordinate with external technicians and vendors for timely repairs.
• Maintain stocks of linen, toiletries, cleaning materials, and other essentials.
• Coordinate local purchasing, vendor management, and supply planning to avoid shortages.
• Monitor operating expenses, verify bills, and keep records within budgets.
• Share daily updates and periodic reports with founders.
• Track guest feedback and implement improvements to service and upkeep.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Operations Manager to oversee our villa project. You will take ownership of daily property operations, supervise the on-site team, resolve guest concerns, and ensure every villa is ready to welcome guests.

This role suits someone who enjoys being on the ground, leading a team, and solving problems independently.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily operations across the villas
• Supervise front office staff, housekeeping supervisors, and attendants; manage duty rosters, attendance, and training.
• Conduct daily team briefings covering guest concerns, and pending tasks.
• Track maintenance issues and coordinate with external technicians and vendors to ensure timely repairs.
• Maintain adequate stocks of linen, toiletries, cleaning materials, and other essentials.
• Manage local purchasing, vendor coordination, and supply planning to avoid shortages at the property.
• Monitor operating expenses, verify bills, and maintain records within approved budgets..
• Share daily operational updates and periodic reports with the founders.
• Track guest feedback and implement improvements to service and property upkeep.

Requirements

• Ideally 1-3 years of experience in hotel, resort, villa, or serviced-apartment operations, including team supervision.
• Ability to manage multiple villas and competing priorities independently.
• Good communication skills in English and Hindi; Kannada or other local languages are an advantage.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp, Excel or Google Sheets, and basic booking or property-management tools.
• Willingness to work on-site at a property
• A hospitality qualification is preferred but not mandatory.
