Job summary

SMFG INDIA CREDIT COMPANY in Mumbai is seeking an Operational Risk professional to identify, assess, and manage risks across business functions, ensuring alignment with policies and procedures. Responsibilities include maintaining risk documentation, monitoring KRIs, addressing risk issues, rolling out RCSA programs, and supporting the risk framework, including presentations for risk committees.

Experience in operational or outsourcing risk management is required; MBA or CA or postgraduate

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Operational Risk and/or Outsourcing Risk Management.

Responsibilities

• Identify, assess, and manage operational risks across business functions, ensuring alignment with policies and procedures.
• Maintain and update risk management documentation, including policies, procedures, Terms of reference, KRIs, and RCSA records.
• Monitor key risk indicators (KRIs), track risk issues, and ensure timely implementation and closure of mitigation actions.
• Periodic RCSA roll out and ensure completion within the specified timeline
• Analyze operational loss events, identify root causes, and recommend corrective/preventive actions.
• Implement and support the operational risk framework, including preparing presentations for risk committee meetings and tracking action items.
• Manage outsourcing risk framework and ensure compliance with related policies.
• Business continuity management Conducting BIA, FRP and Risk assessment for the Units as per the BCP plan. Assist in BCP testing, Call tree testing and Tabletop exercise
