Job summary

Evlv is seeking an Operational AI Automation Developer to design, implement, and maintain automation solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. This remote, 1-year contract role spans Power Apps, Power Automate, and AI-enabled tooling to reduce manual work and improve business value.

You will collaborate with business and technical stakeholders, own solutions through their lifecycle, and ensure governance and security practices are followed across deployments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate.

Title: Operational AI Automation Developer

Location: Permanent Work From Home (Anywhere in India)

Duration: 1-Year Contract - Renewable

The impact you will have:

The Operational AI Automation Developer builds, improves, and supports automation solutions that help teams work more efficiently. Reporting to the Director, Customer Success & Operations Improvement, you will work closely with Business Specialists, process owners, and technical teams to develop and maintain solutions using Microsoft Power Platform technologies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building solutions and owning them after launch. You will create applications, workflows, integrations, and AI-enabled solutions that reduce manual work, improve quality, and deliver business value.

What you will do:

• Work with Business Specialists and stakeholders to understand requirements and build automation solutions.
• Develop Power Automate flows for approvals, notifications, integrations, and business processes.
• Build Power Apps (Canvas and Model-Driven) to support operational workflows and data collection.
• Create solutions using Dataverse, SharePoint, Teams, Excel, Salesforce, and other business systems.
• Configure connectors, APIs, error handling, and automation logic to create reliable solutions.
• Prepare implementation, deployment, and support documentation.
• Contribute ideas and recommendations that improve solution quality, consistency, and maintainability.

Own, Enhance & Support Solutions (≈30%)

• Own solutions throughout their lifecycle, including enhancements, bug fixes, and ongoing improvements.
• Monitor production applications and automations, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems.
• Perform incident investigation, root cause analysis, testing, and deployment support.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerts, error handling, and performance improvements.
• Manage solution lifecycle activities including version control, release documentation, solution packaging, and deployments.
• Follow platform standards, security requirements, and governance practices.
• Support integrations between Power Platform solutions, Salesforce, and other enterprise systems.
• Maintain and support solutions built by other team members when needed to ensure business continuity.

Improve Standards & Team Capability (≈10%)

• Create reusable components, templates, and development standards.
• Share knowledge and contribute to peer reviews and team learning.
• Promote best practices for development, testing, documentation, deployment, and support.
• Maintain working knowledge of shared solutions to support collaboration and cross-team coverage.

What you bring to the table:

• 5+ years of experience developing solutions using Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Experience supporting production applications, including solutions you built yourself and solutions built by others.
• Experience integrating with Salesforce and API-based systems.
• Ability to translate business requirements into practical, scalable solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft tools commonly used with Power Platform, including Teams, SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, and Forms.
• Experience using Git and Azure DevOps for source control and deployments.
• Experience with troubleshooting, monitoring, documentation, and application support.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with business and technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Dataverse, security roles, and Model-Driven Apps.
• Understanding of Power Platform governance, environments, solutions, DLP policies, and ALM practices.
• Experience with Power Platform CLI (PAC CLI), managed solutions, and advanced Power Platform development practices
• Experience creating reusable solutions, templates, and development standards is an asset
• Experience with Copilot Studio, AI Builder, Microsoft Copilot, or AI-powered automation solutions is an asset
• Power Platform certifications such as PL-200, PL-400, or PL-600 is an asset
