Job summary

Infosys in Bengaluru seeks an experienced Exstream developer to design, build, and maintain OpenText Exstream templates and output packages for print and digital channels.

You will convert requirements into Exstream artifacts, develop reusable components, validate outputs, and support integration, testing, and production releases while applying AI-assisted approaches to improve efficiency. Strong debugging, SDLC, and release experience are essential for governance and quality checks.

Qualifications

• BE/ME/BTECH/MTECH/MCA/MSC/MBA (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline.
• 35 years of experience in document composition with strong hands-on expertise in OpenText Exstream.
• Experience developing and maintaining templates, business rules, and dynamic content for customer communications.
• Strong debugging skills with the ability to analyze composition issues and deliver reliable fixes.
• Working knowledge of SDLC practices, version control, and release processes.

Responsibilities

• Exstream Development Delivery: Design, develop, and maintain OpenText Exstream templates, communications, and output packages for print and digital channels.
• Translate functional requirements into Exstream design artifacts, data mappings, and composition logic.
• Build reusable components (fragments, rules, shared content) to improve consistency and reduce delivery timelines.
• Configure and validate outputs (PDF/AFP/PostScript/HTML as applicable), ensuring layout accuracy and brand compliance.
• Integration, Testing Support: Partner with upstream/downstream teams to integrate Exstream with data sources and delivery pipelines.
• Perform unit testing, defect triage, and root-cause analysis; deliver fixes with strong attention to detail.
• Support production releases, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance/stability improvements.
• AI-enabled Productivity: Apply AI-assisted approaches to improve content validation, accelerate template development, and enhance test coverage where appropriate.
• Contribute to documentation, standards, and best practices for template governance and quality checks.
