Job summary

Wipro is seeking an OpenStack Administrator to deploy, operate, and optimize OpenStack cloud environments in Noida. You will manage Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, Keystone, Horizon, and Heat, while ensuring high availability across compute, storage, and networking layers.

The role requires hands-on OpenStack and Linux administration, plus experience with virtualization concepts and scripting (Shell, Python, Ansible). Collaboration with infra, app, and operations teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on administration experience in OpenStack environments.
• Strong Linux administration skills.
• Knowledge of Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Keystone, and Glance.
• Experience in troubleshooting cloud infrastructure issues.
• Good understanding of virtualization and networking concepts.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, administer, and maintain OpenStack cloud environments.
• Manage OpenStack services including Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Glance, Keystone, Horizon, and Heat.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure performance and troubleshoot issues across compute, storage, and networking layers.
• Perform upgrades, patching, backup, and disaster recovery activities.
• Configure networking services, tenant management, and security policies within OpenStack.
• Automate routine operational tasks using Shell/Python scripts and Ansible.
• Work closely with infrastructure, application, and operations teams to ensure high availability and reliability of cloud services.
• Handle incident management, root cause analysis, and performance optimization.
• Create and maintain operational documentation and standard operating procedures
