Contract: 6 Months (GT Payroll Later extended or permanent)
The Sourcing SME owns the end-to-end sourcing cycle for assigned IT categories within the extended VMO from sourcing strategy and RFP execution through supplier evaluation, contract award, and post-award contract support. The role ensures every sourcing event is run with discipline and rigour: clear scope and evaluation criteria up front, a fair and well-documented evaluation process, a defensible award decision, and a clean handover into contract execution and vendor governance.
The Sourcing Manager works closely with Technology, Legal, Finance and InfoSec stakeholders throughout the cycle, and feeds sourcing outcomes into the VMO's governance artefacts (Obligations Traceability Matrix, Savings Pipeline) to ensure a seamless transition from sourcing into steady-state vendor management.
