PROCUREMENT MANAGER

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead and manage procurement activities across global locations. The role will be responsible for developing and executing procurement strategies, managing strategic vendors, driving cost efficiencies, negotiating commercial agreements, and ensuring strong governance across the procurement lifecycle.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in a global SaaS, technology, or high-growth environment, with strong exposure to indirect procurement, vendor management, contract negotiation, procurement systems, and cross-functional stakeholder management.


Key Responsibilities
Procurement Strategy & Operations
  • Own end-to-end procurement activities across multiple global locations, ensuring consistency, compliance, efficiency, and cost effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies across indirect spend categories including technology, software, professional services, facilities, HR, marketing, travel, and other corporate services.
  • Establish and continuously improve procurement policies, processes, approval workflows, and governance frameworks.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, IT, HR, Operations, and business teams to understand requirements and drive effective procurement decisions.
  • Manage the complete procurement lifecycle from sourcing and vendor evaluation through negotiation, contracting, purchase orders, renewals, and vendor performance management.

Vendor Management & Negotiations
  • Identify, evaluate, onboard, and manage strategic and critical vendors across global markets.
  • Lead commercial negotiations covering pricing, payment terms, discounts, SLAs, renewals, termination clauses, liability, and other commercial terms.
  • Drive competitive bidding, RFP/RFQ processes, benchmarking, and vendor consolidation initiatives.
  • Build strong vendor relationships while ensuring the company receives competitive pricing and favourable contractual terms.
  • Monitor vendor performance and proactively manage escalations, renewals, and commercial risks.

Contract Management
  • Review commercial and contractual terms in partnership with Legal and relevant business stakeholders.
  • Lead commercial aspects of contract negotiations and renewals.
  • Maintain visibility of contract commitments, renewal dates, pricing changes, notice periods, and key obligations.
  • Identify opportunities to renegotiate, consolidate, or rationalize vendor contracts to improve cost and business value.

Procurement Technology & Tools
  • Manage and leverage procurement platforms, e-procurement systems, contract management tools, ERP systems, and spend management solutions.
  • Experience working with multiple procurement/ERP/vendor management platforms and ability to quickly learn and administer new procurement technologies.
  • Drive automation and process improvements across requisitioning, approvals, sourcing, purchasing, invoicing, and vendor management.
  • Develop procurement dashboards and reporting to provide visibility into spend, savings, vendor performance, and contract renewals.

Travel & Corporate Services
  • Support and manage corporate travel procurement and vendor relationships, including travel management companies and platforms such as Egencia or equivalent travel management solutions.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and business teams on travel policies, preferred vendors, corporate rates, and travel-related cost optimization.
  • Support other corporate services procurement categories as required.

Spend Management & Cost Optimization
  • Analyse spend across categories and geographies to identify savings and efficiency opportunities.
  • Develop and track procurement savings targets and ensure measurable value delivery.
  • Identify opportunities for vendor consolidation, standardization, volume discounts, and improved commercial terms.
  • Prepare procurement reports and provide regular updates to leadership on spend, savings, risks, and strategic initiatives.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • 712 years of experience in Procurement / Strategic Sourcing / Vendor Management, preferably within a SaaS, technology, or global organization.
  • Demonstrated experience managing procurement across multiple countries/global locations.
  • Strong experience in indirect procurement across categories such as SaaS/software, IT services, professional services, HR, marketing, facilities, travel, and corporate services.
  • Proven track record of vendor negotiation, commercial negotiation, cost optimization, and supplier management.
  • Strong understanding of contract review and negotiation, including commercial terms, renewals, SLAs, payment terms, pricing, and termination provisions.
  • Hands-on experience with procurement software, ERP systems, e-procurement platforms, contract management tools, and spend management solutions.
  • Experience managing RFP/RFQ processes, vendor selection, competitive bidding, and supplier evaluations.
  • Exposure to corporate travel management platforms/TMCs, such as Egencia or equivalent, is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of procurement controls, compliance, approval workflows, and procurement governance.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior business leaders, Finance, Legal, IT, and other functions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to use data to drive procurement decisions.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, globally distributed SaaS environment.

Preferred Skills
  • Experience building or improving procurement processes in a scaling/global SaaS organization.
  • Experience managing significant global vendor portfolios and complex multi-country contracts.
  • Familiarity with SaaS spend management, software licensing, technology procurement, and vendor rationalization.
  • Experience implementing or optimizing procurement technology and automation.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrated ability to deliver measurable savings.
  • Exposure to international procurement practices, taxation, currencies, and cross-border vendor management.
