Job summary

Holcim seeks an experienced Sourcing & Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end sourcing across IT, facilities and indirect categories for its India Business Services Centre and Digital Hub.

In this role you will drive category strategy, supplier negotiations, and contract management while ensuring compliance, sanctions screening, and SAP PR/PO workflows. Strong stakeholder management and regulatory knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering; MBA/PGDM preferred.
• 8+ years in Strategic Sourcing, Negotiations, and Contract Management for India, APAC & EU.
• Knowledge of ABC policies, sanctions screening, and vendor due diligence tools.
• Strong SAP PR/PO, P2P lifecycle, and tax/compliance awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing across IT and Indirect categories, including IT procurement, Contract Staffing, Facility, HR & Consulting Services.
• Execute commercial negotiations to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) and favourable terms.
• Lead competitive bidding (RFPs/RFQs) and market benchmarking to select suppliers.
• Partner with Legal to draft and finalize MSAs, SOWs, SLAs, and NDAs.
• Identify and mitigate contractual and compliance risks; manage renewals and vendor obligations.
• Ensure SAP PR/PO workflows and POs align with contracts and terms.
• Oversee SRM through vendor scorecards and Annual Business Reviews.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing & Procurement Manager to lead end to end sourcing and procurement on all aspects of our India Business services Centre and Digital Hub (main categories include but not limited to IT, Facility, Infrastructure & Other Indirect category). In this role, you will lead sourcing, commercial negotiations, drive end-to-end category strategy, and partner closely with internal business stakeholders, Compliance, and Legal teams and vendors. You will be responsible for initiating, executing, and closing high-value procurement ensuring contracts while safeguarding the organization against legal, reputational, and compliance risks.

The ideal candidate will combine strong commercial negotiation skills with expertise in regulatory compliance (sanctions screening, anti-bribery & corruption directives), contract management, foundational working understanding of SAP PR/PO/Invoices workflows and practicing AI for automation

Key Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering (MBA or PGDM preferred).
• Experience: 8+ years of core experience in Strategic Sourcing, Commercial Negotiations, and Contract Management for India, APAC & EU
• In depth knowledge of Anti-Bribery & Corruption (ABC) policies, and knowledge of sanctions screening & vendor due diligence tools.
• Strong working knowledge of SAP PR/PO process flows and P2P lifecycles.
• Familiarity with Indian tax structures (GST, TDS) and local commercial statutory compliance.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and cross-functional stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Commercial Negotiations

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives across IT and Indirect categories, with a strong focus on IT procurement, Contract Staffing, Facility, HR & Consulting Services.
• Execute commercial negotiations to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO), secure competitive pricing structures, and obtain favorable commercial & payment terms.
• Lead competitive bidding including RFPs, RFQs, and market benchmarking to select lowest cost , high performing suppliers.

Contract Management

• Partner directly with the Legal team to initiate, draft, negotiate, and finalize contracts, including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), SLAs, and Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs).
• Proactively identify and mitigate contractual, commercial, and operational risks by enforcing essential clauses (indemnity, liability, data privacy, termination rights, and penalties).
• Manage contract renewals, amendments, and vendor obligations to ensure full compliance.

Compliance & Sanctions Screening

• Sanctions & Third-Party Screening: Conduct comprehensive due diligence and mandatory sanction screening on all new and existing vendors prior to onboarding.
• Statutory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to Indian/EU legal frameworks, local procurement laws, GST mandates, TDS/WHT applicability, and internal compliance guidelines.
• Maintain complete audit trail readiness for internal and external regulatory audits.

SAP Workflow Management

• Understanding the entire P2P cycle with strong hands‑on experience of Purchase Requisitions (PR) and Purchase Order (PO) creation and approval workflows in SAP. Must know Invoice/SES workflows
• Coordinate with internal procurement operations and finance teams to ensure POs align accurately with executed contracts and commercial terms.

Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) & Stakeholder Management

• Oversee vendor performance evaluations through periodic scorecards, key performance metrics, and Annual Business Reviews
• Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional business heads to align sourcing strategies with business budgets and project timelines.
• Serve as the single point of contact to resolve vendor performance issues, commercial disputes, and contract ambiguities.

Nice to Have

• Professional certification in procurement (e.g. CPSM, CIPS, or CSCP).
• Exposure to modern e-Sourcing platforms (e.g. SAP Ariba, Coupa, or Fair Markit).
• AI-Based Sourcing & Automation : Exposure to or familiarity with AI‑driven procurement tools, Hands on expertise with ChatGPT, Gemini and automation platforms
