Dainik Jobs Placement is seeking a seasoned Site Manager for a chemical manufacturing site in India. You will lead end-to-end operations, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and drive performance across production, maintenance, quality, and HSE in a high-stakes environment.

Lead end-to-end manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, cost, and delivery targets. Ensure uninterrupted plant operations through effective planning, resource allocation, and coordination across departments. Optimize plant utilization, capacity, yield, energy consumption, and operational efficiency. Monitor key operational KPIs and implement corrective and preventive actions. Drive operational excellence through Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Foster a strong safety culture with zero tolerance for unsafe practices. Ensure compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) principles and risk management systems. Lead Hazard Identification (HAZID), HAZOP studies, Process Hazard Analysis (PHA), Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), and Management of Change (MOC) processes. Ensure safe handling, storage, transportation, and processing of bromine and other hazardous chemicals. Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions.
Ensure full compliance with applicable environmental, occupational health, and safety regulations. Maintain adherence to statutory requirements issued by relevant regulatory authorities. Oversee hazardous waste management, emissions monitoring, effluent treatment, and environmental performance. Lead emergency response planning, mock drills, disaster management, and crisis response.
Develop annual production plans aligned with business objectives. Improve process efficiency, product recovery, quality, and manufacturing reliability. Drive initiatives to reduce production costs, utility consumption, and process losses. Identify and implement process improvements through technology and automation.
Ensure high equipment availability and plant reliability. Oversee preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance programs. Manage shutdown planning, capital projects, plant modifications, and engineering improvements. Ensure integrity of critical equipment and statutory inspections.
Ensure products consistently meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements. Drive implementation of quality systems and continuous quality improvement initiatives. Coordinate with Quality Assurance and Quality Control teams to maintain high product standards.
Ensure compliance with all applicable industrial, environmental, labor, and safety regulations. Coordinate statutory inspections and regulatory audits. Maintain necessary licenses, permits, approvals, and compliance documentation. Interface effectively with government authorities and regulatory agencies.
Prepare and manage annual operating budgets. Monitor manufacturing costs and implement cost optimization initiatives. Manage plant expenditure while ensuring operational reliability. Support procurement, inventory optimization, and supply chain coordination.
Provide leadership to cross-functional teams including Production, Engineering, Maintenance, HSE, Quality, Utilities, Stores, Logistics, and Administration. Build a high-performance culture through coaching, mentoring, and employee development. Drive workforce engagement, succession planning, and capability development. Ensure compliance with company policies and ethical standards.
Collaborate closely with corporate leadership, technical teams, customers, suppliers, contractors, and regulatory authorities. Represent the manufacturing site during audits, customer visits, and government interactions. Build strong relationships with local communities while promoting responsible industrial operations.
