Qualifications

• Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, MQTT, HTTP) and IoT communication standards.
• Familiarity with access control, biometric devices, alarms, and IoT platforms.
• Experience with integration testing and system interoperability.
• Knowledge of ONVIF and PSIA standards.
• Certifications such as CCNA, Axis Certified Professional, or IoT-related certifications (preferred).

Responsibilities

Job Description: E-Surveillance Test Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

E-Surveillance System Testing and Troubleshooting:

Conduct detailed testing of surveillance systems to ensure functionality, performance, and compliance. Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, software, and system integration for optimal performance and prepare Test Sheets for Panel Test results.

System Installation and Setup:

Design and implement surveillance systems, including CCTV cameras, video management systems, and access control systems. Coordinate installation processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards and technical requirements.

Integration Testing:

• Test the integration of surveillance panels with the AlgoAIOT Software platform to ensure smooth functionality.
• Collaborate with software teams to identify and resolve integration challenges.
• Validate data flow, device communication, and platform compatibility.
• IoT Lab Management: Manage the IoT lab setup, ensuring all devices and systems are functional and up-to-date.
• Troubleshoot IoT platform communication issues, including connectivity and protocol mismatches.

System Maintenance and Upgrades:

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and maintenance of surveillance equipment.
• Propose and implement upgrades to enhance system capabilities and reliability.
• Ensure seamless integration of surveillance systems with existing infrastructures and platforms like AlgoAIOT.

Technical Support:

• Provide technical support to clients and internal teams regarding system operations, integration workflows, and IoT communication issues.
• Train end-users on system usage and troubleshooting procedures.

System Design and Planning:

• Evaluate security needs and design custom surveillance solutions to address specific requirements.
• Prepare technical documentation, including diagrams, manuals, integration reports, and troubleshooting guides.

Compliance and Security:

• Ensure surveillance systems and integrated platforms adhere to legal and regulatory standards.
• Implement cybersecurity measures to safeguard surveillance networks and IoT communications.

Required Qualifications:

Education:

Bachelors degree in Electronics, Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Technical Expertise:

Strong knowledge of CCTV systems, IP cameras, DVR/NVR, and video analytics.

Familiarity with access control systems, biometric devices, alarms, and IoT platforms.

Experience with integration testing and system interoperability.

Experience:

3+ years of experience in surveillance system design, installation, integration testing, and IoT platform management.

Skills:

Proficiency in networking protocols (TCP/IP, MQTT, HTTP) and IoT communication standards. Strong knowledge of SIADC protocol and data communication methodologies. Experience with software testing tools and methodologies. Knowledge of industry standards (e.g., ONVIF, PSIA).

Experience working with AIOT platforms and large-scale surveillance projects.
