Job summary

Sany Renewable Energy Co., Ltd is seeking a Site Manager to lead wind project execution on construction sites in India. You will monitor and direct site teams and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

You will accompany clients during site visits and address questions about progress. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical engineering, knowledge of turbine agreements, and strong coordination and communication skills with field visit

Qualifications

• Experience in Wind Projects Execution is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical, Electrical or related fields.
• Knowledge of Turbine Supply Agreement and Service Available Agreement is required.
• Strong coordination and communication abilities; ability to work independently and visit field sites.

Responsibilities

• Oversee wind project sites to ensure on-time, safe, and budget-compliant execution.
• Direct site team and subcontractors from start to finish.
• Accompany clients during site visits and address progress questions.
• Maintain budget discipline by identifying cost-saving opportunities and reducing waste.
• Ensure site safety protocols with daily support from EHS specialists and manage risk.
• Contribute input to planning and development of the program.
• Complete site reports and paperwork accurately and on time.
• Assist the Project Manager with additional site-related responsibilities.

Job description

• 1. Site manager works on building and construction sites to ensure a project completes safely, on time, and within budget.
• 2. Monitor and direct site team incl. subcontractor activities from start to finish.
• 3. Accompany clients during site visits and answer questions or concerns about the project's progress.
• 4. Be budget-conscious and identify opportunities to save money by reducing wasteful practices or increasing efficiency.
• 5. Maintain site safety protocols with support from EHS specialist daily on their site visits and ensure subcontractors and crew work in a safe environment and minimize risk and resolve violations and potential hazards.
• 6. Provide input into the planning and development of the program.
• 7. Complete site reports and other paperwork on time and accurately.
• 8. Perform other responsibilities required by the Project Manager.

Requirements:

• 1. Experience: Candidate should have experience in Wind Projects Execution
• 2. Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, major in Mechanical, Electrical and other related majors.
• 3. Knowledge: Should have the knowledge of both Turbine Supply Agreement and Service Available Agreement.
• 4. Ability & Skill: Good coordination and communication skills, clear verbal and written communication. Must be able to work independently and should be willing to do field visits. Should be Able to handle pressure situations.
