Job summary

Morepen Laboratories in Gurugram is seeking a Pharmacist to join its online pharmacy team. The role centers on verifying prescriptions uploaded by customers via the app, ensuring authenticity and regulatory compliance, and guiding dispensing decisions.

You will provide tele/chat-based counseling on dosages and drug interactions, handle customer queries about orders, and ensure clear handover of pending items at shifts. Registered pharmacist with strong attention to detail required.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered pharmacist with valid certification.
• Experience in prescription verification and regulatory norms.
• Ability to provide tele/chat-based counselling to customers.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify prescriptions uploaded by customers on the app before order processing.
• Validate prescription authenticity, doctor details, patient name, dosage, and drug legality as per norms.
• Flag unclear, incomplete, or suspicious prescriptions and reach out to customer/doctor for clarification.
• Ensure proper shift handover with pending orders/escalation status documented.

Job Responsibilities

Prescription Verification & Validation

• Review and verify prescriptions uploaded by customers on the app before order processing
• Validate prescription authenticity, doctor details, patient name, dosage, and drug legality as per regulatory norms (Schedule H/H1/X compliance).
• Flag unclear, incomplete, or suspicious prescriptions and reach out to the customer/doctor for clarification before dispensing.
• In case of item unavailability, suggest substitutes only after consulting with the customer.

Customer Support

• Provide tele/chat-based counselling to customers on dosage, drug interactions, and side effects.
• Handle inbound/outbound calls/chat queries related to drug information, order status, and prescription clarifications.
• Maintain professionalism and accuracy while handling sensitive health-related queries.
• Ensure proper shift handover with pending order/escalation status documented.
