Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services invites a dedicated OneStream Consultant to join the Pune-based Corporate Performance Management group. You will manage day-to-day OneStream solutions (forecasting, budgeting, IT planning) and assist with consolidations and allocations across finance.

The role requires hands-on OneStream, SQL, VB scripting, and familiarity with Power BI. You will collaborate in an Agile setup with global teams, develop training materials, and act as SME for the COE, driving governance

Qualifications

• Must have implementation experience on OneStream, preferably in Consolidations or FP&A.
• Experience with Agile project methodology with teams across groups/vendors in different locations.
• Knowledge of SQL and VB scripting is a must.
• Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
• Nice to have FP&A process knowledge like monthly forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting.
• Experience with ServiceNow or similar ticketing systems.

Responsibilities

• Stay up to date with financial reporting systems for finance like OneStream and innovations in automation.
• Assist with OneStream Support activities related to Month End Close: monitor loads, update mappings, run data management jobs.
• Must have implementation experience on OneStream, preferably in Consolidations or FP&A.
• Work with Agile project methodology with teams from different groups/vendors across locations.
• Act as OneStream SME for LYB OneStream COE and extended peer group.
• Assist in developing training materials and teach new users in OS COE group on basics-to-advanced OneStream processes/concepts.
• Knowledge of SQL and VB scripting is a must.
• Knowledge of Power BI is preferred.
• Nice to have FP&A knowledge like monthly forecasting and budgeting.

ROLE : OneStream Consultant

Basic Function

The OneStream Consultant would be reporting to Sr Manager, Corporate Performance Management group. CPM group currently have OneStream COE and Finance Business Intelligence towers. The OneStream Consultant will assist with day-to-day management of OneStream implemented solutions (forecasting and budgeting, fixed cost reporting, IT planning, consolidations and allocations) and help drive overall governance of the OneStream application.

A Day In The Life of OneStream CPM Consultant

• Stay up to date with financial reporting systems for finance like OneStream but also understand Intelligent Automation technologies, capabilities, business applications, and be aware of innovations in this area.
• Should be able to help with OneStream Support activities related to Month End Close like monitoring loads, updating transformation mappings, running ad hoc loads and data management jobs to name a few
• Must have implementation experience on OneStream preferrable in Consolidations or FP&A area
• Must have experience working with Agile project methodology with teams from different groups / vendors spread across different geographical locations
• Would act as OneStream subject matter expert (SME) for LYB OneStream COE and extended peer group
• Should be able to assist in the development of training materials and teach new users in OS COE group on basics-to-advanced OneStream processes / concepts
• Knowledge of SQL and VB scripting is a must
• Knowledge of Power BI is preferred;
• Nice to have knowledge related to FP&A processes like monthly forecasting, budgeting and management reporting
• Must have experience with Support/Ticketing preferably in ServiceNow

Work Experience

• At least 3-5 years of experience working with financial reporting systems.
• At least 2+ years as a OneStream consultant or similar role in the implementation and support of OneStream solutions.
• Strong expertise in designing and configuring OneStream applications, including data integration, workflow setup, calculation scripts, and reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and consolidation processes.
• Experience in integrating OneStream with other financial systems, such as ERP and EPM solutions.
• Strong programming skills in languages such as VBA or C# to develop custom integrations and automation within the OneStream platform.
• Proficiency in SQL to perform data analysis, validation, and custom reporting using OneStream data.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView to create insightful and interactive financial dashboards and reports is a plus.
• OneStream XF certifications are preferred.
• Knowledge about SAP, Robotics Process Automation (RPA) or other IA technologies like Alteryx is a plus.
