Job summary

NTT DATA BUSINESS SOLUTIONS in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India is seeking an OnBase API Developer to join our team. The role focuses on building, enhancing, and supporting integrations between OnBase and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, .NET/C#, SQL, and workflow solutions.

You will design, develop, and maintain OnBase integrations, configure workflows, collaborate with stakeholders, and ensure security and performance of the integrations, while coordinating with DevOps for deployments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Hyland OnBase development/integration.
• Hyland OnBase certification.
• Strong experience with OnBase API development using Unity API, Web Services, REST/SOAP.
• Hands-on OnBase configuration: Document Types, Keywords, Workflows, User Groups/Roles, Forms.
• Strong programming experience in C#/.NET.
• Good knowledge of SQL Server / Oracle and writing complex SQL queries.
• Experience building and consuming APIs and web services.
• Understanding of DMS/ECM/workflow solutions.
• Experience with troubleshooting and production support.
• Familiarity with OnBase Workflow, Work View, Unity Forms, DIP.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain APIs/services for document upload, retrieval, indexing, workflow actions, and metadata exchange.
• Develop solutions using OnBase Unity API, Web Services, REST/SOAP APIs, and related integration tools.

• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand document management and workflow requirements.

• Write and optimize SQL queries/stored procedures for data validation, reporting, and backend integration needs.

• Maintain technical documentation, interface specifications, and support guides.

OnBase API Developer: We are looking for an OnBase API Developer with strong experience in Hyland OnBase, API integrations, and enterprise application development. The ideal candidate should have hands‑on expertise in building, enhancing, and supporting integrations between OnBase and other enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, .NET/C#, SQL, and workflow/document management solutions. This role requires a solid understanding of OnBase architecture, document workflows, Unity/API integrations, and backend application development. The candidate should be comfortable working with business, QA, infrastructure, and support teams.
