Alivus Life Sciences seeks an experienced Plant Operations & Monitoring specialist to manage wastewater treatment and allied systems at their Solapur facility. You will operate ETP, MEE, ATFD, and RO units, while ensuring optimal process control and safety.

The role requires hands-on experience with API or bulk chemical plants, 2–6 years in ETP/MEE operations, and the ability to monitor pH, COD, BOD, DO, TDS, and flow rates, and to coordinate maintenance with mechanical/electrical teams.

Formación

• 2 to 6 years of direct operational experience in an ETP/MEE plant.
• API or bulk chemical plant experience is mandatory.

Responsabilidades

• Operate, monitor, and control ETP, MEE, ATFD, and RO systems.
• Control and operate equipment including pumps, blowers, clarifiers, decanters, sand/carbon filters, and aeration systems.
• Manage high-COD/TDS streams typical of API manufacturing processes.
• Perform precise chemical dosing (coagulants, flocculants, neutralizing agents) based on wastewater characteristics.
• Monitor critical process parameters continuously: pH, TDS, COD, BOD, DO, and flow rates.
• Control pH levels and equalize the quality of influent wastewater before it undergoes physical and biological treatment.
• Clean bar screens, empty used chemical bags, and maintain housekeeping (5S) in the ZLD plant area.
• Assist the mechanical and electrical teams in troubleshooting pump chokes, motor unbalances, and valve replacements.
• Carry out routine maintenance such as refilling media filters (MGF/ACF) and replacing RO cartridge filters.

Role & responsibilities

Plant Operations & Monitoring:

• Operate, monitor, and control ETP, Multi-Effect Evaporators (MEE), Agitated Thin Film Dryers (ATFD), and Reverse Osmosis (RO) systems.

• Control and operate equipment including pumps, blowers, clarifiers, decanters, sand/carbon filters, and aeration systems.

• Manage high-COD/TDS streams typical of API manufacturing processes.

Process Control & Chemical Dosing:

• Perform precise chemical dosing (coagulants, flocculants, neutralizing agents) based on wastewater characteristics.

• Monitor critical process parameters continuously: pH, TDS, COD, BOD, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), and flow rates.

• Control pH levels and equalize the quality of influent wastewater before it undergoes physical and biological treatment

Maintenance & Troubleshooting:

• Clean bar screens, empty used chemical bags, and maintain pristine housekeeping (5S) in the ZLD plant area.
