Qualifications

• Understanding of cGMP regulations, ASME codes for pressure vessels, piping isometric drawings, and P&IDs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or 3D CAD design tools.

• Manage preventive, breakdown maintenance for API process machinery including glass-lined reactors, centrifuges, heat exchangers.

• Write and execute equipment qualification protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ), SOPs, and manage root-cause investigations or CAPAs.

Equipment Maintenance: Manage preventive, breakdown maintenance for API process machinery like glass-lined reactors, agitating nutsche filters, centrifuges, and heat exchangers.

Utility Management: Oversee operations of plant utilities including chilled water, cooling towers, plant steam, compressed air, and purified water systems.

Compliance & Validation: Write and execute equipment qualification protocols (IQ, OQ, PQ), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and manage root-cause investigations or CAPAs.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience: 3 to 8 years of core plant engineering experience in an API, bulk drug, or chemical manufacturing setup.
• Technical Knowledge: Understanding of cGMP regulations, ASME codes for pressure vessels, piping isometric drawings, and P&IDs.
