Lucy Group in Gujarat, India, is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee plant and machinery upkeep and lead a maintenance team. You will implement preventive and predictive maintenance, maintain machine history per ISO standards, and drive cost-saving improvements across the department.

Responsibilities include coordinating with production, planning new installations, and managing spare parts inventory while ensuring health and safety standards are met.

Qualificações

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics.
• Experience with shop floor machinery such as SPMs, robots and pneumatic presses.

Responsabilidades

Job Purpose:

• Maintaining the Plant & Machinery for a good working condition
• To manage a team consists of maintenance technician, electricians to carry out maintenance department activities.
• To involve in all expansion and improvement projects
• Maintaining the documentation related the maintenance activities and machine history.
• Automation of manufacturing process & design and build machines for inhouse production requirement.

Key Accountabilities:

• To ensure the Plant and machinery and maintained as per PM schedule to achieve near to ‘zero downtime
• Ensure the Maintenance records and machine history were up to date and maintained as per ISO requirements.
• Monitoring and reporting the machine condition on monthly basis.
• Coordination with production functions and Assembly cells to execute ‘preventive and predictive’ maintenance schedules for on time execution.
• Should contact various machine manufacturers and suppliers for sourcing out spare parts locally and overseas.
• Getting quotes for spare parts from several suppliers, negotiating and Ordering for the plant and machinery maintenance.
• Manage the maintenance team consists of technician, electrician & fitter reporting to them.
• Involve in cost cutting activities and continuous improvement projects with team and individual.
• Actively involvement in machinery Spare parts inventory control and optimization to reduce inventory carrying costs.
• Identify and train the Maintenance team members as per the requirement and maintain the training matrix.
• Developing maintenance team for multitasking to increase the flexibility in the department.
• To actively involve in new machinery installation activity.
• To work with other departments in implementing improved process layouts and contribute to work as a team to achieve organizational goals like productivity improvement, cost reduction, waste reduction, better housekeeping standards, health and safety standards etc.
• PLC /HMI / VFD / PID / Process instrumentation programming.
• Implementing environment friendly measures on a continuous scale in Machinery and Equipment Service and Maintenance
• Should be actively involved in complying in H&S and 14000 standards during work.

Maintaining the Plant & Machinery for a good working condition

• To ensure the Plant and machinery and maintained as per PM schedule to achieve near to ‘zero downtime
• Ensure the Maintenance records and machine history were up to date and maintained as per ISO requirements
• Monitoring and reporting the machine condition on monthly basis.
• Coordination with production functions and Assembly cells to execute ‘preventive and predictive’ maintenance schedules for on time execution.
• Getting quotes for spare parts from several suppliers, negotiating and Ordering for the plant and machinery maintenance.
• Involve in yearly budgeting of Plant and machinery and Repair and maintenance.
• Maintaining basic required spare parts for machineries.
• To manage a team consists of maintenance technician, electrician, and fitter to carry out maintenance department activities.
• Plan and execute Preventive Maintenance plan as per its schedule with the team
• Plan and schedule breakdown calls based on priority.
• Plan and schedule process improvement and CI projects.
• Preparation of maintenance report on daily basis.
• Scheduling team members for machine run hours data collection and updating system on monthly basis.
• Scheduling team member for electricity and water consumption data collection and updating system on weekly basis.
• Scheduling team members to execute JAFZA OFC related test and requirements.
• Identify and train the Maintenance team members as per the requirement and maintain the training matrix.
• Developing maintenance team for multitasking to increase the flexibility in the department

To involve in all expansion and improvement projects

• Preparation of site for new machine installation.
• Assisting team members in preparation of machine layout.
• Assisting production and production engineering in selection of machineries.
• Decommission and relocation of old machineries.
• Scheduling team members for new machine installation.
• To work with other departments in implementing improved process layouts and contribute to work as a team to achieve organizational goals like productivity improvement, cost reduction, waste reduction, better housekeeping standards, health and safety standards etc.
• Maintaining the documentation related the maintenance activities and machine history.

Preparation of PM and OPM check list based on machine manufacturer recommendation.

• Preparation of half yearly PM schedule and circulating to production department.
• Printing and displaying of OPM checklist on monthly basis.
• Preparation of hard copy maintenance report on daily basis for PM and BM activity.
• Tabulation the data from maintenance report to excel file as per system
• Monthly machine run hour monitoring and publishing machine up time details.
• Monitoring the status of actual PM status and reporting.
• Monitoring the actual H&S and Machine technical related training hours and reporting.
• Assigning machine code to new asset as per the asset register.
• Automation of manufacturing process & design and build machines for inhouse production requirement.
• Preparation of concept for in-house machine manufacturing.
• PLC /HMI / VFD / PID / Process instrumentation programming.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

• Degree or Diploma in Electrical & Electronics
• Should have good working knowledge about the shop floor machineries like SPM’S, Robots, Pneumatic Presses & Various Utility machines.

Minimum Experience:

• Minimum 7 to 9 years of experience in Maintenance department – Machinery /Factory maintenance

• Good working knowledge in Electrical and Electronic control panels

• Should be able to handle demanding and stressful situations without compromise on work quality.
• Should have sound knowledge about the basic industrial machinery mechanical systems and working principles.
