Job summary

Biomatiq Scientific is seeking a maintenance engineer to oversee water systems and HVAC-related equipment in Hyderabad, India. You will ensure reliable operation, maintain logs, and support QA/validation activities.

The role includes calibration, preventive maintenance, and on-site service for boilers, chillers, and air systems, with training duties and SOP coordination as part of the responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor water systems; update related documents.
• Troubleshoot water systems and related equipment.
• Attend preventive maintenance of water systems and other equipment per schedule.
• Handle Engineering QMS activities and documentation.
• Operate and maintain air compressors, AHVC systems, boilers, chillers and DG sets.
• Perform breakdown and maintenance tasks across Engineering & Utilities.
• Update daily logs and formats for Engineering equipment as required.
• Support validation activities for equipment/instrument qualification.
• Assist in calibration and preventive maintenance tasks.
• Service equipment during breakdowns and ensure downtime is minimized.
• Train personnel on engineering-related activities.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by HOD as needed.
• Assist SOPs Training coordinator with relevant activities.

Role & responsibilities

• 1. Operation water system, Updating related documents.
• 2. Trouble shooting of Water system.
• 3. Attending of preventive maintenance of Water system and other Equipments as per the schedule.
• 4. Handling of Engineering QMS.
• 5. Operation and maintenance of Air compressor, AHVC System, Boiler, Chiller, Diesel Generator.
• 6. Breakdown & Maintenance in all Engineering &Utilities, related activities
• 7. Updating daily logs books and formats of the Equipments in Engineering department as and when required.
• 8. Supporting in Validation activities of all Equipment/Instrument qualification
• 9. Supporting in all calibration and preventive maintenance activities
• 10. Service of equipment in case of breakdown
• 11. Training of the personnel with respect to engineering related activities.
• 12. To perform any other work assigned by HOD as and when required.
• 13. Supporting of SOPs Training coordinator.
