Job summary

Actylis is seeking a Safety, Health & Environment (EHS) professional to assist the Sr. EHS Executive & Manager with workplace health, safety and environmental hazard tasks.

The role includes recordkeeping, audits, training for EHS at Actylis, and maintaining compliance with statutory requirements and ISO 14001, 45001, and 9001 standards. You will help ensure a safe working environment, implement Safe Working techniques and contribute to incident investigations, near-miss analyses, and corrective

Responsibilities

• Assist Sr. EHS Executive & EHS Manager with health, safety and environmental tasks.
• Maintain safe working environment per government norms and ISO standards.
• Prepare site-specific SOPs aligned with EHS policy.
• Conduct EHS risk assessments with department heads.
• Ensure adherence to permit-to-work system.
• Prepare and maintain EHS compliance checklists and schedules.
• Oversee loading/unloading safety and heavy equipment operations.
• Coordinate emergency response team training and drills.
• Monitor hazardous waste management activities.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

Position Summary

The selected candidate is responsible for assisting the Sr. EHS Executive & EHS Manager with tasks related to health, safety, and environmental hazards & Risk in the workplace as well as administrative needs for recordkeeping, audits, training for EHS at Actylis.

He/ She shall maintain a safe working environment as per the statutory and regulatory requirements per government norms, and the ISO 14001, 45001, and 9001 standards in the organization.

Responsibilities will include:

• Responsible to implement Safe Working techniques, re-enforce safety policy, guidelines, procedures as set out by the company.


• Implement EHS system in the workplace as well as administrative needs for recordkeeping, audits/inspections, and training for EHS at Actylis and external warehouses under Actylis management.


• Perform EHS Risk Assessments in conjunction with department heads as applicable.


• Ensure strict adherence for Permit to work system throughout the plant.


• To prepare site-specific SOPs in alignment with the Corporate EHS policy and guidelines.


• Ensure for adherence & compliance of SOPs set by the organization.


• Receive, Acknowledge & investigate the reported safety concerns, near misses and incidents, assist with near misses and incidents investigation process, Assist with implementing applicable preventive and corrective actions.


• Inspection of Hazardous areas and equipment and prepare the report and send to Manager-EHS as per defined frequency.


• To prepare and Maintain EHS Compliance Checklist and schedule.


• To ensure ETP & STP plant runs without breakdown with cost effective operation.


• Responsible for supervision of Loading/Unloading vehicles, Lifting hydra & Crane & other heavy vehicles.


• Prepare and guide Emergency response team for their roles & Responsibilities.


• To conduct training as per the schedule.


• Monitor Hazardous waste management activity.


• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Experience & Knowledge

Education

Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Environmental Engineering, Safety, or Fire or related field

Experience

Min 2 to 3 years of relevant EHS experience
