Job summary

Advanced Vital Enzymes is seeking a hands-on operations professional for upstream and downstream processing in fermentation. You will handle fermenters (30 L to 5 KL), aseptic inoculum transfer, media preparation, CIP, and equipment sterilization, while ensuring calibration and accurate log book data.

The role requires adherence to SOPs, BMRs, GMP, and safety standards; shift-based work is expected in a manufacturing setting. Collaboration with maintenance and quality teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in fermenter operations (30L to 5 KL).
• In-depth knowledge of aseptic inoculum transfer; media preparation and CIP vessels.
• Familiar with automation like PLC/SCADA and calibration tools.

Responsibilities

• Operate fermenters (30L to 5 KL) and related process equipment.
• Perform media preparation, media transfer and CIP generation/distribution.
• Carry out sterilization and cleaning of process equipment.
• Operate Autoclave, microscope, pH meter, LAB centrifuge and weighing balance.
• Coordinate with maintenance for preventive/breakdown activities.
• Maintain SOPs, BMRs and product specs; record real-time data in log books.
• Adhere to GMP, documentation practices and safety; work in shifts.

Job description

1. Operations of upstream and downstream process equipment's.
2. Hands on experience on operations of fermenters (30L to 5 KL), aseptic inoculums transfer, Nutrient dosing vessels, media preparation vessel's and CIP tanks.
3. To perform media preparations, media transfer and CIP generation and distribution
4. To prepare Fermenter and process equipment sterilization activities and cleaning activities.
5. Handling Autoclave, microscope, PH meter, LAB centrifuge and weighing balance.
6. Knowledge on automation systems like PLC SCADA.
7. coordination with maintenance team for preventive maintenance and breakdown activities of process equipment.
8. calibration of PH meters and weighing balance
9. Adherence to SOPs, BMRs and product specifications.
10. In process sampling and real time data entry in log book
11. To perform supervising housekeeping activities
12. monitoring and maintenance of raw material
