Job summary

Keka Technologies Private Limited in Jamshedpur is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Process Engineer to join as Officer (Process & Design). You will design STP, ETP, WTP, RO, UF and prepare PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulic calculations and mass balances for both prebid and detailed engineering stages.

Candidates should have BE/B.Tech/Diploma in Environmental, Chemical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering and at least 3 years of relevant STP/ETP/WTP design experience; proficiency in process

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Environmental, Chemical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in STP/ETP/WTP design.
• Knowledge of CPCB/SPCB standards and discharge norms.

Responsibilities

• Design STP, ETP, WTP, RO, and UF treatment systems.
• Prepare PFDs, P&IDs, hydraulic calculations, and mass balance for Prebid and Detailed Engineering.
• Select appropriate treatment technologies based on influent characteristics and discharge norms.
• Prepare technical process drawings, layouts, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Coordinate with project, proposal, procurement, and site teams.
• Review client requirements and prepare suitable technical solutions.
• Ensure designs comply with CPCB/SPCB standards and project requirements.
• Support project execution and resolve technical design issues.

Job description

We are looking for an experience Water/Wastewater Process Engineer to join our team at Jamshedpur as Officer (Process & Design) with strong technical knowledge in the design of STP, ETP, WTP, RO, and UF systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design STP, ETP, WTP, RO, and UF treatment systems.
• Prepare Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), P&IDs, hydraulic calculations, and equipment sizing hydraulic calculations, and mass balance for Prebid stage and detailed engineering stage.
• Select appropriate treatment technologies based on influent characteristics and discharge norms.
• Prepare technical process drawings, layouts, BOQs, and technical specifications.
• Perform process calculations and select suitable pumps, blowers, filters, tanks, and other equipment.
• Coordinate with project, proposal, procurement, and site teams.
• Review client requirements and prepare suitable technical solutions.
• Ensure designs comply with CPCB/SPCB standards and project requirements.
• Support project execution and resolve technical design issues.

Qualification

B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Environmental, Chemical, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering.

Experience

Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in STP/ETP/WTP design.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Strong knowledge of process design, PFD, P&ID, equipment sizing, BOQ preparation, and knowledge of water and wastewater treatment technologies.
• Experience in MBR, MBBR, SBR, ASP, RO, UF, MEE, ZLD systems
• Proficiency in preparing PFDs, P&IDs, and design calculations
• Familiarity with water quality standards and discharge norms
• Ability to analyze influent/effluent data and optimize process design
• Good communication and documentation skills
• AutoCAD other softwares
