Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Dewas API site is seeking an Officer in Global Quality and Compliance.

The role requires analytical testing of finished APIs, intermediates, raw materials, and related materials using HPLC and other wet laboratory instruments. The incumbent will maintain and calibrate instruments, monitor environmental conditions, and issue data sheets while ensuring cGxP compliance and safety in the QC laboratory.

Qualifications

• B.sc/M.Sc / B.Pharm degree required.
• 3-5 years experience in QC laboratory.
• Knowledge of cGxP and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing of samples per specifications.
• Maintain and calibrate wet laboratory instruments (HPLC).
• Monitor temperature and humidity in QC lab and keep records.
• Issue analytical raw data sheets and logbooks.
• Inventory management of laboratory chemicals and spares.
• Handle samples and ensure proper disposal per guidelines.
• Support training and skill upgrades for lab improvements.
• Ensure safety compliance in QC laboratory.

Key responsibilities:

• Analytical Testing: To perform analysis of laboratory samples (Finished API's, Intermediates, Raw Materials, Recovered Solvent, In-process material, Working Standards) on HPLC/ Wet laboratory instruments as per approved Specification, Test procedures and as per customer requirement.
• Laboratory Instruments: To perform and ensure all Wet laboratory instruments are maintained and calibrated as per schedule. To perform daily/weekly calibration of wet laboratory instruments as per schedule. To ensure laboratory instruments (HPLC) are maintained and calibrated as per schedule
• Temperature and Humidity Monitoring QC laboratory and maintain the relevant records.
• Issuance of analytical raw data sheet for relevant analysis.
• Inventory: To maintain inventory of laboratory chemical and documents/spares in HPLC laboratory.
• Sample Handling: Handling and disposal of under test laboratory samples and to ensure that under test laboratory samples are kept as per their recommended conditions and maintain the disposal of under test laboratory samples after completion of analysis.
• Training: To ensure that continuously upgrade the skills through training and technical inputs for knowledge up gradation to drive continuous improvements in laboratory performance.
• Safety: To ensure compliance to cGxP and applicable safety standards in the QC laboratory.
