Job summary

Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. Senior Officer in Quality will lead stability and finished product analyses in a Halol-based lab, ensuring strict calibration checks, ATP and SOP adherence, and GMP/GLP compliance.

As a key member, you will manage instrument upkeep, maintain data integrity, and support safe, accurate analytical operations in a fast-paced pharmaceutical environment.

Qualifications

• Perform stability and finished product analysis as per work plan.
• Check instrument calibration status and perform calibration when required.
• Maintain GLP and GDP procedures in the lab.

Responsibilities

• Conduct stability and finished product analyses per plan and document results.
• Verify instrument calibration status and perform calibration as needed.
• Follow ATP, SOP procedures during analysis.
• Maintain lab cleanliness and proper storage of standards and reagents.
• Maintain reconciliation sheets for samples.
• Prepare mobile phase and filter per HPLC procedure.
• Verify results against specifications and report any outliers.
• Handle glassware and deactivate cytotoxic materials as required.
• Follow safety procedures including PPE.
• Monitor lab temperature and humidity.
• Perform water analyses on purified and other water streams.

Job Description:

1. To perform the analysis of Stability and Finished product samples as per the work planning given and do their online reporting and documentation like calculation, logbook entries etc. (For Physical testing).
2. To check the calibration status of the instrument and validity before use or perform the instrument calibration as when required.
3. Follow the ATP procedure, Instructions and SOP procedure while performing the analysis.
4. To keep the instrument and surrounding area clean during and after the analysis.
5. To keep the Working standards, Reference standards, Impurity standards, Sample solutions, Chemicals, Reagents, Specification, ATP, etc. to the designated place after use.
6. To maintain reconciliation sheet for stability, finished and process validation samples.
7. To prepare the mobile phase, degassed it and filter before use as per the HPLC procedure.
8. To verify the generated results against the given approved specification and inform to cell leader or supervisor for any odd observation, OOS, OOT and Lab Event.
9. To give Glassware tray which are used in analysis for washing after confirmation of results. To prepare Deactivating solution while handling the cytotoxic material and deactivate the glassware and solutions.
10. Follow the Safety procedures like Wear hand gloves, mask and safety glasses during analysis.
11. Always wear Apron and safety shoes in the lab during analysis.
12. Follow the GLP and GDP procedures.
13. Tejaswini Chauhan is also responsible for carrying out any other responsibilities assigned from time to time orally or in writing.
14. She is also responsible for monitoring of the temperature and humidity in laboratory.
15. Water analysis of Purified water, Water for injection, raw water, clean steam (pH, conductivity, Nitrate and oxidizable test).
