Job summary

Sun Pharma invites applications for a Senior Executive / Executive– Analytical Development Non-Orals in Vadodara. The role focuses on GLP-compliant analytical work, including excipient testing and method verification, with emphasis on safety and document control.

M.Pharm/M.Sc candidates with 2–5 years' experience are preferred. Exposure to GC calibration, water analysis, and protocol development will be valued, along with rigorous adherence to SOPs and training requirements.

Qualifications

• GLP compliance per SOPs and guidelines.
• Must undergo training prior to work.
• Adhere to laboratory safety procedures.
• Perform excipient testing for non-oral dosage forms.
• Verify Pharmacopeia methods or develop/validate in-house methods.
• Conduct wet analysis and residual solvent testing.
• Carry out GC calibration and instrument maintenance.
• Perform water analysis and raw material testing.
• Prepare study protocols and write study reports.
• Archive documents as per SOPs.

Responsibilities

• Work in GLP-compliant environment according to SOPs.
• Execute assigned analytical tasks after training.
• Ensure safety and proper handling of lab procedures.
• Perform excipient testing for non-oral dosage forms.
• Validate methods or develop new analytical approaches.
• Calibrate instruments like GC and perform analyses.

Job Description

• To work as per GLP and ensure its compliance as per current guideline and SOPs
• Responsible to take training before execution of allotted work and maintaining the training file
• Responsible to follow safety precaution as per laboratory procedure
• Responsible to follow safety precaution as per laboratory procedure
• Responsible to perform Excipient testing of Non-oral dosage form of all market.
• Responsible to perform Pharmacopeia method verification or in-house method development & validation / Pre-validation of Excipient. Wet analysis, residual solvent testing of API(DS). Residual solvent testing of drug product
• Responsible to perform Calibration of Gas chromatography
• Water analysis and other raw material testing.
• Responsible to perform the calibration of instrument
• Responsible to prepare study protocol and study reports.
• Responsible to maintain instrument / equipment as per SOPs
• Responsible to ensure proper Handling and Disposal of waste
• Responsible to timely archival of documents as per SOP.
• Responsible to follow safety precaution as per laboratory procedure
