Job summary

Indoco Remedies in Navi Mumbai seeks a dedicated data analytics professional to own KPI tracking, OEE, batch cycle times and line productivity. You will publish daily dashboards and drive real-time shop-floor visibility to improve efficiency.

You will support continuous improvement via OpEx, Kaizen and TPM projects, providing historical data, root-cause analysis, and cost-optimization reporting across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with analytics focus.
• 3 to 6 years in OPEX or continuous improvement in pharma, FMCG, or similar.
• Proven ability to deliver data-driven insights for sites and functions.

Responsibilities

• Data analytics and KPI management for plant performance (OEE, cycle times, utilization).
• Publish daily performance dashboards and maintain real-time shop-floor visuals.
• Support OpEx projects, RCA, and TPM with data-backed evidence.
• Track cost savings, overtime, and resource use for cost optimization.
• Ensure regulatory readiness and maintain SOPs and training metrics.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1.Data Analytics & KPI Management:-

• Tracking Plant Performance: Collate, calculate, and monitor core pharmaceutical plant metrics including OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), batch cycle times, capacity utilization, and line productivity.
• Publishing daily DPR
• Dashboard Design & Maintenance: Develop and manage digital daily management dashboards to track real-time shop-floor operational status.
• Waste & Variance Tracking: Generate reports on yield losses, material variances, and non-value-added activities to identify bottlenecks in the production stream.
• Score card of sites: coordinating Site team for Scorecard and publish scorecard on monthly basis.
• Manthan MIS: Reporting Idea Status of site wise Manthan and Value reporting

2. Supporting Continuous Improvement Frameworks:-

• OpEx Project Validation: Validate data baselines and post-implementation financial and operational savings for Kaizen, Six Sigma, and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) projects.
• Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Support: Provide the historical and statistical data required by OpEx teams to investigate frequent manufacturing deviations, equipment breakdowns, or out-of-specification (OOS) failures

3. Financial & Cost Optimization Reporting:-

• Cost Saving Portfolios: Maintain the plants cost-optimization tracker. Monitor active OpEx cost-saving milestones against targets set by functional plant heads.
• Overtime & Resource Tracking: Analyze labor distribution, shop-floor overtime, and utility consumptions to help optimize overhead costs

4. Compliance & Quality Documentation Support:-

• Regulatory Readiness: Ensure all data, metric logs, and OpEx validation records comply with global regulatory guidelines (FDA, EMA, and GMP) during audits.
• SOP & Skill Mapping Tracking: Maintain digital records of updated Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), workforce training metrics, and plant-wide multi-skilling matrices

Qualifications and skills

• Education: BE in computer science, data science, AI production/ industrial engineering.
• Experience: Experience of 3 to 6 years in OPEX in pharmaceutical OSD or FMCG or Automobile.
• Certification: Advance Excel, Power BI, Tableau.
• A proven record of accomplishment in operational excellence and continuous improvement is essential.
• Technical skills: MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), SAP/ERP, LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System)
• Soft skills: The ability to work closely with site heads, functional head and work with cross-functional teams at all levels is vital. High interpersonal skill with excellent analytical, and interpretation skill, communication and coordination skills are crucial.
