Job summary

Uflex is seeking a skilled analytics professional to synthesize plant data into actionable insights. You will design and maintain Power BI dashboards across production planning, manufacturing, warehousing, logistics, and quality to support executive decision-making.

You will benchmark performance, monitor OEE, yield, energy, and mass balance, and contribute to CAPEX/OPEX tracking and governance through data-backed analyses and executive-ready briefs.

Qualifications

Job description

Business Performance & Chemical Data Analytics

• Aggregate and analyze complex operational datasets across Production Planning & Control (PPC), Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics, Projects, and Quality.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated dashboards (Power BI), management presentations, and weekly/monthly MIS reports for leadership review.
• Convert raw plant operational data into actionable business intelligence to support corporate strategic planning.

Chemical Manufacturing Excellence & Benchmarking

• Monitor and benchmark critical plant performance parameters including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), Product Yield, Specific Energy Consumption, and Mass Balance.
• Establish standardized performance benchmarks across multiple chemical manufacturing units to identify operational variances and plant-to-plant gaps.
• Highlight process bottlenecks, raw material inefficiencies, and utility wastages to recommend targeted continuous improvement plans.

Project Management & OPEX / CAPEX Tracking

• Monitor capital expenditure (CAPEX) for plant expansions/de-bottlenecking and track strategic operational projects against milestones, critical paths, and budgets.
• Proactively identify project lifecycle risks, environmental compliance constraints, or delays, and coordinate with stakeholders to implement mitigation plans.
• Track operating expenditures (OPEX), analyze budget-to-actual cost variances, and support the standardization of regional pricing and raw material costing metrics.

Quality, EHS & Compliance Analytics

• Monitor key quality indicators, including batch scrap rates, rejections, customer quality complaints, and process deviations.
• Track the implementation, progress, and timely closure of Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) and safety/EHS audit findings across manufacturing plants.

Executive Support & Strategic Governance

• Coordinate high-level management reviews, document critical strategic decisions, and maintain the cross-functional operational calendar for the COO.
• Follow up with Plant Heads and Functional Leaders on leadership commitments, tracking open action items to ensure timely execution.
• Prepare data-backed executive briefs, technical summaries, and presentations for board-level or external joint-venture meetings.

Technical Skills & Competencies

Advanced Analytics: Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced modeling, macros, lookup functions) and Power BI (dashboard design, data transforms).

Presentation Skills: Exceptional PowerPoint capabilities with the knack for translating complex chemical and financial figures into clear, high-level executive stories.

ERP Systems: Robust working knowledge of Oracle / SAP (specifically PP, QM, PM, or MM modules) for operational data extraction and data verification.

Domain Expertise: Strong baseline understanding of chemical process operations, mass balance concepts, asset utilization, and financial variance analysis (budget vs. actual).

Core Soft Skills: Outstanding stakeholder management skills to work effectively with senior Plant Heads, absolute commitment to handling confidential strategic data, high ownership, and strong execution discipline.
