Job summary

Akana Services seeks an experienced OCM Administrator to manage Oracle Content Management environments, with a focus on configurations, access control, content publishing, and lifecycle management. You will coordinate with development teams for headless CMS setups and ensure GDPR/ISO compliance across platforms.

Role involves defining content models, metadata structures, and taxonomies, plus migrating content and integrating with other systems via REST APIs.

Qualifications

• 5-10+ years in ECM platforms
• Experience with Oracle content management (OCM)
• Experience with content modeling, metadata and workflows
• Knowledge of REST API integration and system integration
• Understanding of GDPR, ISO, and other compliance standards

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation, configuration, and support for Oracle Content Management (OCM) or similar ECM platforms.
• Define content models, metadata structures and taxonomies as per business needs.
• Manage user roles, groups, permissions, and access control policies.
• Design and implement content migration strategies (dev/uat/prod).
• Integrate ECM with other systems using REST APIs or custom scripts.
• Ensure ECM platform compliance with organizational standards (GDPR, ISO, etc).
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to content publishing, access, and system performance.
• Webcenter core customization and experience in custom components.
• Knowledge of capture and imaging for custom search applications.
• Provide guidance and training to end-users and junior administrators.
• Collaborate with development teams for headless CMS setups and custom UI components if required.
• Workflow error handling - OCM custom workflow
• Document security (roles/permissions) and metadata update support
• Assist with content check-in/check-out issues
• Handling imaging and capture (invoice scanning/fax, etc.)
• Integration support for integrated apps and users
• Incident/Service Request management through ITSM (ServiceNow)
• Support disposition activities for legal/information management
• Review with middleware/OHS/content management teams reg vulnerability and patch management for Oracle updates
• Admin activities like patching, updating, purging (Linux & Windows OS)
• Experience in Oracle UDM, WCM, URM, UCM are mandatory

We are seeking an experienced OCM Administrator to manage and support Oracle Content management environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for configurations, access management, content management, content publishing, asset lifecycle management , and coordination with development teams for headless CMS implementations.

Role:-

Experience required: -

5-10+ years in ECM platforms

Reports to :-

ECM program manager or IT Head

Key Responsibilities

Lead implementation, configuration, and support for oracle content management (OCM) or similar ECM platforms.

Define content models, metadata structures and taxonomies as per business needs.
