Secure Minds in Pune is seeking an Observability (O11y) Engineer to lead the design, deployment and enablement of observability across applications, infrastructure and cloud environments, leveraging the Enterprise Observability Platform built on Splunk Enterprise, ITSI and Splunk Observability Cloud.

You will focus on instrumentation, telemetry pipelines, service modeling and APM rollout, onboarding new teams into the observability ecosystem and collaborating with SRE, DevOps and platform teams

Qualifications

• Experience with Splunk Observability Cloud for APM, infrastructure and logs.
• Proficient with OpenTelemetry collectors, processors and instrumentation.
• Strong knowledge of distributed tracing, span analysis and service dependency mapping.
• Experience integrating Splunk Enterprise & ITSI with observability workflows.
• Scripting in Python/Bash on Linux/Unix environments.
• Hands-on with Kubernetes, Docker, AWS and Azure.

We're hiring an Observability (O11y) Engineer to lead the design, deployment and enablement of observability capabilities across applications, infrastructure and cloud environments, for an Enterprise Observability Platform built on Splunk Enterprise, ITSI and Splunk Observability Cloud (O11y).

The role focuses on instrumentation, telemetry pipeline engineering, service modeling and APM rollout, onboarding new teams into the observability ecosystem and working closely with application owners, SRE, DevOps and platform engineering teams to deliver full-stack visibility.
