Prudent Globaltech Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Observability Engineer to drive end-to-end observability using Datadog, Splunk, and distributed tracing. You will configure dashboards, alerts, and reports, and work across DevOps, SRE, and infrastructure teams to ensure production stability.

The role requires hands-on expertise with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), Kubernetes, and automation with Terraform.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on observability experience with Datadog and Splunk.
• Knowledge of APM, log management, dashboards, alerts and observability concepts.
• Experience with Linux, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), and application monitoring.
• Scripting, incident management, and production troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, OpenTelemetry, and Terraform preferred.

Responsabilités

Job Description: Senior Observability Engineer Datadog & Splunk

Experience: 5+ Years

Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Observability Engineer with hands-on expertise in Datadog, Splunk, and monitoring solutions to ensure application performance, infrastructure reliability, and production stability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure and manage Datadog dashboards, monitors, alerts, APM, and infrastructure monitoring.
• Develop Splunk SPL queries, dashboards, reports, and alerts for log analysis.
• Implement end-to-end observability using metrics, logs, and distributed traces.
• Monitor cloud infrastructure, applications, APIs, and Kubernetes environments.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis (RCA), and support incident management.
• Automate monitoring tasks using Python/Bash and Terraform.
• Collaborate with DevOps, SRE, application, and infrastructure teams to improve system reliability.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Datadog and Splunk.
• Knowledge of APM, log management, dashboards, alerting, and observability concepts.
