The role demands hands-on expertise in Datadog, open telemetry, and cloud monitoring, with strong Python automation and DevOps practices. You will drive dashboards, logs, metrics, and tracing standards and champion incident reduction

Qualifications

• Minimum of 12 years working in IT field as system administrator or DevOps.
• Strong hands-on experience with Datadog across logs, metrics, APM, dashboards, and monitors.
• Solid understanding of observability principles, including telemetry types, SLOs, distributed tracing, and reliability metrics.
• Proficiency in Python for automation, instrumentation, and integrations.
• Experience with AWS and Azure monitoring services and their integration into observability platforms.
• Experience with DevOps tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform preferred).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or IT.
