Job summary

Tata AutoComp Systems Limited in Pune is seeking a Design Engineer specialized in Siemens NX Surfacing to develop high-quality Class-A surfaces for automotive components.

You will create and modify surfaces, develop solid models, perform G0–G2 continuity checks, and collaborate with cross-functional teams across the product development lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Siemens NX Surfacing for automotive surfaces.
• Experience in Class-A/ Class-B surface development.
• Knowledge of surface quality checks and GD&T principles.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify Class-A, Class-B, and Class-C surfaces using UGNX.
• Develop surface and solid models as per customer requirements.
• Perform surface quality checks and continuity analysis (G0, G1, G2).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for design and development activities.
• Prepare and maintain design documentation.

Job Title: Design Engineer UGNX Surfacing

Experience: 2-5 Years
Location: Pune

Job Description

We are looking for a talented UGNX Surfacing Engineer with experience in Automotive Product Design. The candidate should have strong expertise in Siemens NX (UGNX) Surfacing and experience in developing high-quality surfaces for automotive components. Experience in Foams will be preferred; however, candidates with Plastic Product Design experience are also encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and modify Class-A, Class-B, and Class-C surfaces using UGNX.
• Develop surface and solid models as per customer requirements.
• Perform surface quality checks and continuity analysis (G0, G1, G2).
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for design and development activities.
• Conduct design feasibility studies and support engineering changes.
• Prepare and maintain design documentation.
