Job summary

Tekskills in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, invites a skilled NXOpen CAD developer to build and maintain custom NX/CAD applications using C#, C++, Python, and scripting tools. You will create automation scripts, tailor the NX UI, and transform XML data with XSLT for CAD-PLM integrations.

You'll work with OpenJT for lightweight visualization, collaborate with design, manufacturing and PLM teams, and gain exposure to Teamcenter. Agile experience and strong debugging skills are valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering, CS, or related field.
• Experience in Agile environments.
• Exposure to PLM systems like Teamcenter.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving with CAD toolchains.

Key Responsibilities

• Create automation scripts and tools to enhance design productivity.
• Customize the NX user interface, templates, and dialogs to suit business processes.
• Use XSLT for XML data transformation in CAD integrations.
• Work with OpenJT for handling lightweight 3D models and visualization tasks.
• Integrate NX applications with PLM systems like Teamcenter (desirable).
• Perform CAD tool enhancements, unit testing, documentation, and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and PLM teams to understand technical needs.

Key Skills & Technologies
