Job Summary
- Develop standalone/integrated desktop applications, macros & plugins for CAD customization using .NET (C#), VB or other relevant languages.
- Proficiency in scripting, XML or other configurable file formats.
- Implement automation requirements in automotive design, focused on CAD customization for RD.
- Gather requirements and deliver end‑to‑end automation, coordinate projects, plan and schedule, and lead the team.
- Organize, moderate, coordinate and document meetings to align technical decisions with stakeholders.
- Negotiate with clients, review changes, manage administrative tasks including report writing, and ensure release timelines.
- Comply with best coding practices to deliver high‑quality code.
Job Responsibility
- Use NX‑Open APIs for prototyping, development and complex solutions.
- Build and deploy projects to test environments.
- Create architecture documentation and specifications.
- Develop UI logic.
- Maintain coding standards.
- Participate in SDLC and Agile (Scrum) project methodologies.
- Understand architectural patterns (service‑oriented, micro‑services, enterprise architecture patterns).
- Develop quick PoC with latest technologies.
- Exhibit strong knowledge of C#/VB .NET and NX.
- Possess deep knowledge of NX applications (Modeling, Drafting, etc.).
- Have a deep understanding of NXOpen/UFUNC APIs.
- Show good knowledge of HTML/XML data processing and scripting.
- Understand AI and deep learning concepts.
- Possess excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Manage customer communication and coordinate technical decision meetings.
- Work toward individual goals aligned with department and organizational objectives.
- Comply with organizational HR policies and procedures.
- Adhere to organizational HSE policies and practices.
- Demonstrate DevOps and cloud knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Education: B.E., B.Tech, M.E. or M.Tech in Mechanical or related streams from a reputed university.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience.
- Experience in CAD/CAE customization, preferably in Siemens NX.
- Language experience: C# (.NET), VB, C/C++.
