Job summary

3D Engineering Automation LLP is looking for a designer to create and refine complex 3D CAD models and large-scale assemblies using Siemens NX. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of hands-on experience with NX design software and possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Responsibilities include generating detailed manufacturing drawings and ensuring design feasibility with production teams. This position is located in Pune District, with occasional work in Magarpatta.

Qualifications

• Domain knowledge is compulsory.
• Ability to modify designs efficiently without historical constraints.

Job Description / Roles & Responsibilities

1. Create and refine complex 3D CAD models, sub-systems, and large-scale assemblies using Siemens NX.
2. Generate detailed 2D manufacturing drawings, apply Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and manage accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs).
3. Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs are feasible for machining, casting, or sheet metal fabrication.
4. The person should be able understand customer requirement, work on an assignment and own deliverables independently.

Skills (Must have)

1. Minimum 1-2 years hands-on-experience in NX design software - design, modelling, assembly
2. Domain knowledge is compulsory.
3. Ability to modify designs efficiently without historical constraints.
4. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills for working with manufacturing and quality assurance departments.

Desired years of experience

Minimum 1 to 2 years experience in NX software for industrial products/ equipment /appliances.

Educational Qualification (Additional/optional)

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
