Job summary

Tekskills is seeking a skilled Siemens NX Customization, Configuration & Automation Engineer to join our team in Mumbai. You will develop and implement custom solutions within Siemens NX to automate design processes, ensure consistency across engineering workflows, and boost productivity.

Responsibilities include NX customization using NX/Open APIs, UFunc, and Knowledge Fusion, plus UI styler enhancements and MBD/PMIs expertise.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in NX customization using NX/Open APIs and UFunc, Knowledge Fusion and NX GRIP.
• Develop and implement custom applications, scripts, and tools to tailor the NX environment.
• Hands-on with NX CAD modules including Modeling, Drafting, Assembly, Routing.
• Experience in configuring and implementing NX customizations to standardize workflows.
• Knowledge of MBD/PMIs and UI customization to streamline user experience.

Role & responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled Siemens NX Customization, Configuration & Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing custom solutions within Siemens NX to automate design processes, enhance productivity, and ensure consistency across engineering workflows.

• NX Customization:
• Extensive hands-on experience in NX CAD Modules such as Modelling, drafting, Assembly, Routing.
• Experience of NX configurations and customization.
• Develop and implement custom applications, scripts, and tools using Siemens NX Open API to tailor the NX environment to specific project requirements.
• Extensive experience in NX customization using NX/Open APIs and UFunc , NX Knowledge Fusion and NX GRIP , UI/Block Styler.
• Hands on MBD/PMIs
• Experience in configuration and Implementation of Checkmate
• Customize user interfaces, menus, and toolbars to improve user experience and streamline workflows.

Collaboration &Support:

• Work closely with other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective automation solutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users on customized tools and automated processes.

Preferred candidate profile

• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, C#, VB.NET or Python.
• Strong experience with Siemens NX Open API and customization tools.
• Familiarity with NX journaling, user-defined functions (UFUNC), Knowledge Fusion, NX Grip and Block UI Styler.
• Experience with integrating NX with external applications and databases.

• Design &Engineering Knowledge:
• Solid understanding of CAD modeling, assembly design, and drawing creation within Siemens NX.
• Knowledge of parametric design principles and design automation techniques.
• Knowledge of Model Based Designs and PMIs
• Familiarity with engineering standards and best practices in CAD design.
