Job summary

TVS Motor invites a senior CAE Engineer for NVH simulation to drive noise and vibration performance for our 3W and 4W platforms, including ICE and EV powertrains.

The role focuses on analyzing simulation results, identifying gaps, developing countermeasures, and validating models against test data to meet stringent QCD targets.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in NPD - CMB and R&D - Simulation to implement robust NVH solutions across our product lines.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in NVH simulation and analysis.
• Experience with 3W/4W platforms; ICE and EV powertrains.

Responsibilities

• Conduct NVH simulation and CAE analysis for 3W and 4W platforms (ICE and EV powertrains).
• Develop and validate simulation models for powertrain-induced vibrations and structure-borne noise.
• Provide solutions to meet product QCD targets.
• Simulate powertrain noise, gear whine, and driveline NVH characteristics.
• Align NVH standards with test standards and document them.
• Benchmark and analyze competitors for NVH performance.

Role Description

• Perform NVH (Noise, Vibration & Harshness) simulation and analysis for New Product Development (NPD) of commercial products in 3-Wheeler and 4-Wheeler vehicle platforms
• Analyze simulation results, identify performance gaps and develop countermeasures to achieve NVH performance targets

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct NVH simulation and CAE analysis for 3W and 4W platforms (ICE and EV powertrains, Full vechicle NTF, VTF, TPA, Cabin noise, etc)
• Perform vehicle and powertrain NVH analysis including ICE / EV powertrains, Intake & exhaust system acoustics and mountings
• Provide solutions to meet product QCD targets
• Develop and validate simulation models for powertrain-induced vibrations and structure-borne noise
• Simulate powertrain noise, gear whine, and driveline NVH characteristics
• Develop and improve NVH simulation methods through test correlations
• Conduct benchmarking and competitive analysis for NVH performance
• Prepare/Update NVH simulation standards and align with test standards
